Supernova Salon has an amazing opportunity to join our salon business with our Front Desk Concierge team!

Our Salon Coordinator will possess mindful attention to detail, be organized, accountable, and responsible for the successful daily flow and function of the salon. Confident, empathic, and clear communication skills in person, via email, and over the phone with both team members and guests are essential for success at Supernova Salon.
The Salon Coordinator will:
• Be accountable for positive client and team interactions.
• Be accountable for front desk client financial policies.
• Be accountable for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the front desk and retail areas of the store.
• Provide increasing support and eventual ownership of retail displays, inventory management, reporting, and all other responsibilities related to the front desk.
• Be confident to uphold our company code of honour and promote the Supernova values and salon culture in a client-facing role.
• Provide increasing leadership in mentoring other front desk team members in handling both client and stylist requests and challenges.
• Work with the stylist team throughout the day to ensure timing and expectations are clear for booked services.
• Suggest and implement ways for the front desk team to be more efficient in their work.
• Help us incentivize our current team and encourage personal growth.
Preferred Experience
• Minimum 2 years in a client-facing role in the service industry, creating amazing client experiences.
• Confidence with POS systems and cash management (2 years min. experience)
• Confidence with Microsoft Windows and computer functions (2 years min. experience)
• Proven team-building and leadership skills
