Stylist Levels at Supernova Salon
At Supernova Salon, our hairstylists are categorized into six levels, each representing a distinct skill set and commitment to excellence. From Associates to Level 6 Master Stylists, our diverse team is ready to bring your unique vision to life. Explore our stylist levels to find the perfect match for your style preferences.
ASSOCIATES:
Supernova Salon is committed to creating the future generation of stylists. Our associates are fully graduated hair students who have chosen to continue their advanced education and perfect their skills as they begin to take clients. Our associates work hand in hand with our team and clients to create beautiful hair, while they train and refine their craft at Supernova Salon.
LEVEL 1 EMERGING TALENT STYLISTS:
This is the first level of stylist at Supernova Salon. Our Level 1 Emerging Talent Stylists have graduated from hair school and completed an intensive and comprehensive apprenticeship program to further grow their technical skills with the salon owner and Leadership Team. They are inspired and excited to work with clients, creating beautiful hair, and to begin building their clientele with the salon team. Level 1 stylists may have slightly longer timelines, and our leadership team works closely with them to ensure they have mentoring and support when they need it.
LEVEL 2 NEW TALENT STYLISTS:
Like our Level 1 stylists, our Level 2 New Talent Stylists have graduated from hair school and an intense and comprehensive advanced apprenticeship program with the salon Leadership Team. Committed to growth and development, these New Talent Stylists have completed a Specialized Blonding Certification with the salon owner and Leadership Team, as well as graduated from their Level One Vidal Sassoon Academy program. Our Level 2 stylists are inspired, excited, and confident in their technical skills, and love bringing clients’ dream hair to life. New Talent Stylists continue to grow their experience through working with clients every day at the salon and attending our advanced education programs.
LEVEL 3 ACCOMPLISHED STYLISTS:
Our Level 3 Accomplished Stylists are dynamic, versatile, and confident in their skills. They have completed a Blonde Certification, a Colour Correction Certification with the salon Leadership Team, and have graduated from Vidal Sassoon Academy Level One and Level Two. These stylists are confident and creative, working collaboratively with our entire salon team.
LEVEL 4 SENIOR STYLISTS:
Our Level 4 Senior Stylists represent the combination of experience and expertise. They have a deep passion for hair artistry and bring a rich portfolio of advanced skills. These stylists focus on continuing to grow and develop their skills with advanced cutting and color techniques, as well as having specialty services in which they excel. They are leaders in our salon company, offering mentorship and inspiration to the whole team. Beyond their talent, they play a vital role in nurturing our next generation of stylists. They are passionate mentors to our associates and younger level stylists, sharing insight, supporting consultations, assessments, and passing on experienced techniques and skills.
LEVEL 5 SENIOR STYLIST SPECIALIST:
Our Level 5 Senior Stylist Specialists are senior stylists with years of experience. They are passionate about specializing in long hair, stunning balayage, and lived-in color that seamlessly blends natural beauty with artistic flair. They love creating gorgeous dimensional colors from brunettes to blondes. As blonde specialists, they create stunning blonde hues from sun-kissed highlights to icy platinum.
LEVEL 6 MASTER STYLISTS:
Our Level 6 Master Stylists are industry leaders. With a wealth of experience and unparalleled skill, they are the cornerstone of our salon excellence. Our Master Stylists excel in all our services, from texture treatments, texture cutting, precision cutting, and our full color menu, to intricate styling and restorative treatments. They are able to deliver exceptional results in all situations. Beyond their talent, this team plays a vital role in nurturing our next generation of stylists. They are passionate mentors to our associates and younger level stylists, sharing insight, supporting consultations, assessments, and passing on experienced techniques and skills.
